Hooray! It’s Songbird Paperie’s very first Giveaway Wednesday! Once a month I will be hosting a giveaway here on the blog and I am SO excited to present this huge giveaway celebrating the coming of spring, which is NEXT WEEK! Woooo!

OOH OOH!! I <3 spring!!! I love the fresh fruits and veggies and all the delicious things you can buy down in the market… Food is my creativity so I "paint" with different coloured and textured ingredients in my cooking, so Spring is my favourite food time of year!!!

My favorite thing about springtime is the jasmine that’s in bloom outside my apartment front door. I can smell it from my living room and it’s heavenly.

It may be a little harder to love spring in the PNW – although I guess I can’t complain too much since the weather’s been pretty good 🙂 But, I love the return of the sun! Being able to start bbqing, celebrating Easter (my favorite holiday!) and making fresh fruit pies – like strawberry rhubarb! It also doesn’t hurt that our annual Mexico trips happens in the spring!

I like Easter peeps, I know they have them for pretty much every occasion but Easter is synonymous with Peeps in my sweet-tooth mind.

Growing up in the desert and now living in Seattle I honestly love the rain during the spring! And flowers! So many flowers!

This is so fun! My favorite things about Spring time are the longer days and the feeling of change upon us- spring cleaning, veggies/flowers budding, and outdoor adventures begin!

My favorite things about spring are the temporary (thankfully) sale of Cadbury Mini Eggs, all the blooming flowers, and of course.. MY BIRTHDAY! =)
