Hello, lovely! I’m Rosie, the heart and hands behind Songbird Paperie—a fine stationery and calligraphy studio nestled in beautiful Seattle, Washington. Since 2013, I’ve had the joy of creating enchanting paper treasures that celebrate love stories, special moments, and a splash of personality. With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, I bring a vibrant, romantic, and modern touch to every design.

My journey into the world of paper art began long before this studio was born—back when I was a kid growing up in Silicon Valley, playing with early versions of Photoshop that my tech-savvy dad brought home. Those playful experiments with design blossomed into a lifelong passion for crafting and calligraphy. A self-taught designer, I refined my skills through late nights learning from star calligraphers, and I even developed my own handwriting “fonts” (much to the envy of friends and classmates!).

Songbird Paperie is my dream come to life—a space where colors dance, stories shine, and stationery is as unique as the couple it celebrates. From wedding invitations to day-of signage, I adore creating pieces that reflect your love story in every curve of ink and splash of color. Think cheerful palettes, luxurious textures, and just the right touch of whimsy.

When I’m not designing or teaching hand-lettering classes, you’ll find me savoring time with my husband (fondly known as “Mr. Architect”), chasing our two little boys, or whipping up something sweet in the kitchen. I’m also a lifelong violinist, an unapologetic Pinterest addict, and a lover of all things Kate Spade. Oh, and pink and aqua? Always.
