Deck the Hall: Holiday Decor Ideas
One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is blasting Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" on repeat, sipping a cup of hot cocoa and decorating our home! And now that November is here, it's officially acceptable to start planning!
Below are just a few decorative items that I've whipped up and will be selling at our West Elm Pop-Up Shop on Saturday. We also have them up on our Etsy page!

Holiday Banners
These handmade banners are simple but will help to create a warm and celebratory vibe to your home. Hang the banner across your fireplace or in your dining room for an extra pop!
The "CHEERS" banner would be great if you're hosting a New Year's Eve party but also work for Thanksgiving, Christmas and any other celebrations throughout the year.
Place Cards
Hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner at your house this year? Place cards are a super simple way to add a touch of class to your table setting.
Also, if you'll be hosting family and friends who don't all know each other, this is a great way to make sure everyone has a comfortable spot to sit and they can refer to these mini cheat-sheets when they can't remember their tablemate's name!
Holiday Prints
Who doesn't love Christmas decorations? Create a fun Christmas themed gallery wall or frame it and display on your mantel.
Gift Tags
Your Christmas tree is usually the main focal point of your holiday decor and beautifully wrapped presents sitting underneath will really get everyone in the Christmas Spirit!
Use these adorable gift tags to label presents or throw your kids off their game as they try to guess what's inside!
A Little Something for Everyone: Holiday Gift Ideas
Yes, it's only November 1st and we're already talking about Christmas! With our Pop-Up Shop at West Elm coming up this weekend, I'm bursting with holiday inspiration!
Here are a few of our newest products paired with some classics and fun items from friends of Songbird.
Come visit us on Saturday, November 5th, at West Elm Seattle and pick up some of these goodies from Songbird, Ace Playfield and Players Make Plays!

Rosie
Art Prints
These can cover all your bases and serve as great gifts for men, women and children. Available in many different sizes, these can be framed and hung on a wall or would look great on a desk.
The first two prints are inspired by our home here in the Pacific Northwest and the others would look so adorable in a nursery!
Find them on our Etsy page!
Gifts for the Sports Fans
In Seattle, people are diehard Seahawks fans and this sweatshirt would be the perfect prezzie! It would particularly make a good gift for men - is it just me, or are they always the hardest to shop for?
Created by our friend, and former NFL quarterback, Gibran Hamdan at Players Make Plays this awesome design is inspired after the infamous 'Beast Quake' play.
For those non-Seahawks fans, he also has a slew of other football play diagram inspired graphic tees.
Personalized Stationery
Don't take for granted the impact a nice handwritten note can have! While many people still may prefer to send emails and text messages, personalized stationery can be a very thoughtful gift for your grandmother, who sends you cards for every holiday and occasion. It can also make a great stocking stuffer!
Email us at hello@songbirdpaperie.com or place an order on our Etsy page to purchase a customized set!
Gifts for the kiddo
We absolutely love the fun and modern designs that Ace Playfield makes for kids! Their gear makes great personalized gifts for the kids in your life and aren't just your run-of-the-mill kids clothes.
Tote Bags
I'm pretty sure you can never have too many tote bags! Grab a few and stuff them with some fun items to give to your besties!
You can order these on our Etsy page!
